How to cultivate

Open the Grow Bag and remove the contents except for the clay balls.
Fill the bag with all the substrate.
Spread 6 to 10 seeds and bury them about 1 cm deep.
Water or mist, keeping the substrate moist but not soaked.
Place in a warm location with a few hours of direct sunlight each day.
It may take 8 to 15 days to germinate and 5 to 6 months to bloom.
When the substrate appears dry (check with your finger), add a little water.

Didn’t germinate? Check if the soil is moist and if it gets sunlight.

Try a greenhouse effect. Keep in a sunny spot and cover with a plastic bag or film. Let condensation form and check the results in 3-5 days.

How long does it take to grow?
Calendula can take 8 to 15 days to germinate and about 5 to 6 months to bloom.
Will it grow again?
Calendula is an annual plant, meaning it will not grow back.
How often should I water it?
Calendula prefers moist soil, but not soggy. Check the soil with your finger: if it feels dry, water it at the base with about a cup of coffee's worth of water. In summer, it requires more regular watering. Remember that the Grow Bag does not have a drainage hole, and if it retains too much water at the bottom, it may harm the plant.
Should I place it outside or transfer it to a pot?
Our kits are designed for indoor use, in a location with light and direct sunlight, but they can also be placed outdoors. There is no need to transfer it to a pot; the Grow Bag has enough space for the calendula to grow.
