VIOLA tricolor is easy to grow when there is plenty of light and heat. Attractive to butterflies and other pollinators. Abundant and long-lasting flowering.
How to sow?
In a vase or garden, the seeds should be covered with a thin layer of soil. Do not cover very small seeds, but press them lightly into the soil. Keep the seeds always moist (a spray bottle works well) and at temperatures around 20°C. After germination, water when the soil appears dry (check with your finger). When plants are already grown, they may need water more regularly.
Sowing time: spring and summer
Time until germination: 2-3 weeks
Life cycle: perennial
